Well, here it is. Monday, September1, 2008. Day one of the RNC. I am bringing you live coverage of the events, well, via Louisville, KY. But we do have our eyes and ears on the ground in St. Paul MN, thanks to our network of bloggers and other unconventional reporters with Grizzly Groundswell, Moving Right Radio, and LetsGetThisRicht.com. Between us all, there are hundred’s of bloggers, over fifty radio stations, and two live, twenty-four hour feeds.
Unfortunately, most of the GOP’s work for today has been scaled back. They will be doing just enough to cover the legalities of having a Convention, and then scaling back out of respect for our fellow Americans who are no doubt suffering greatly this morning,.
Please join me in continuous prayer for those who did not make it out of the evacuated areas in time, that God will keep them safe. And pray, too, for those who did get out, that the life they left behind in such a hurry will still be there when they return.
I do want to take a minute to thank the Louisville/Jefferson County Republican Party Chairman, Mr. Brad Cummings, for joining me live on the air for about an hour last night to discuss the goings on in the presidential race. We seemed in agreement that Gov. Sarah Palin was just about the best move that Sen. McCain could have made for a Vice Presidential candidate.
She is a very strong Conservative, which is definitely the direction in which Sen. McCain needed to go. She is pro-life, pro-Second amendment, pro-traditional marriage. She is a mother of five, and an avid outdoors person. She agrees with the concept of drill here, drill now. She really is the ideal pick. And I have a feeling from the debates I’ve seen her in, that she could tear Joe Biden up!
I hope you’ll join me in just a couple of hours at: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/stations/HeadingRight/mr-right-opinion. Nedd will again be out, but my special co-host today at 11:00 a.m. will be former Pres. George H.W. Bush’s speechwriter, Mr. Michael Johns.
Please come by today to talk about the former president, the current RNC, policy, and the Republican agenda. Don’t miss it!
