Mr. Right Opinion
Saturday March 22, 2008
Yesterday afternoon, I was listening to the Kevin McCullough show on BlogNet Radio, and we were all discussing the controversy surrounding Barack Obama, and his racist, anti-American pastor, the wrong-reverend Wright.
As we discussed the issue, Kevin was elightened with a wonderful idea...kill 'em with love. Here is what his Townhall blog says:

"God Bless America!"
On the broadcast today a SPECIAL Easter Weekend idea hit some of my listeners and I at the same time. This weekend - thousands of born again, Evangelical and Catholic, Black and White - CHRISTIANS will be observing the celebration of Jesus Christ's miracle of Resurrection over sin and death. In this nation - we have greater religious liberty and freedom than any other nation on earth.
So our goal for the "GOD BLESS AMERICA" campaign - THIS WEEKEND - is to remind Dr. Wright and the Trinity United Church of Christ about God's blessings that He HAS poured out on us.
We are asking YOU to take part in this with thousands of like-minded Christians from across the nation...
Dial Trinity at 773.962.5650 - all weekend long - and tell them that you're praying "for God to bless America." Repeat it three times, thank them for their time and then let them go. Three times Dr. Wright called down God's damnation on America in the soundbyte that has been played over and over.
Imagine thousands of messages of blessing - coming from mostly WHITE people to let Dr. Wright know that we are asking God to bless us, and Trinity UCC by extension.
The weight of this ounce of goodness would be heavier than ten tons of guilt. My listeners took to the idea immediately. But we need radio shows, blogs, columnists and everyday people to pass it on to their friends.
Call Trinity at 773.962.5650...
Or fill up their e-mail inbox at: info@TUCC.org!
Hear my listeners respond to the idea in the podcast right here:

As we have just marked the fifth anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq War, I wanted to take a moment to reflect and pray. I am not trying to use this occasion as an opportunity to sell books, but the article I want to refer to is no longer available on this blog. It is called, “The Case For the Iraq War-The Evidence And The Moscow Connection.” It is in my book, “Mr. Right Opinion-Unplugged and Unashamed,” which is available here: http://www.51756.authorworld.com/.
Anyway, since the beginning of this war in Iraq, people have said it was a war built on a lie. That it was G.W. Bush getting vengeance for G.H.W. Bush. Well, that is simply not true, and there is evidence to back that up. It is just that the mainstream media won’t tell you about it; they have an agenda.
Highly-placed officials in the U.S. and other governments have evidence that WMD’s were in fact in Iraq, and that they were disposed of in a contingency plan with Russia, to be used at a later date. All the information is in my book.
At this point, though, I would like to offer a “National Prayer” which I saw, to my surprise, on the wall of a local hospital. It goes as follows:
National Prayer
Lord, we come to You on bended knee, heads bowed and our hearts filled, overflowing With so much grief for the many people who have Been injured and killed in our National crisis.
We ask you Lord, to give courage and strength to those who so bravely go to their aid. And though their hearts will be heavy and filled with sorrow, we ask Lord that You give them the endurance needed to help them through this difficult task.
Please give us the strength, Lord to get through each difficult and devastating day that faces each of us and our country. Protect and guide our military that are now being called to duty.
We ask Lord, that you guide the leaders of our great country in their hour of decision. The burden that has been placed on their shoulders during this crisis is overwhelming. We ask that with Your infinite wisdom You guide them gently to the right decisions.
And lastly Lord, we ask that You allow us all to come together as a nation, to stand tall and united, so that we might help each other in our hour of need. Amen

"If we move in mass, be it ever so circuitously, we shall attain our object; but if we break into squads, everyone pursuing the path he thinks most direct, we become an easy conquest to those who can now barely hold us in check."

Even though it won't be available for about a month, maybe a little longer, my first book, "Mr. Right Opinion-Unplugged and Unahamed: one man's musings during perilous times in America's history" got its first review.
It can be seen at my book's website: http://www.51756.authorworld.com/, which is exciting. But, to save my fellow Opinionators the trouble, it is right here for your viewing pleasure...enjoy!
God Bless, Mike

Book Review: Mr. Right Opinion: Unplugged and Unashamed by Michael A. Minton Posted on March 19th, 2008 by E.D. Kain in Book Reviews, Kentucky News, Society and Culture, US Politics Read 33 times.
Michael A. Minton’s sprawling anthology, Mr. Right Opinion: Unplugged and Unashamed, touches on just about every topic important to the Conservative Movement from Family Values and Immigration issues, to the plight of Israel in the face of continual terrorism.
Mr. Minton has collected 137 articles from his blog, Mr. Right Opinion, and is publishing them in the anthology Unplugged and Unashamed from Author House (a self-publishing outfit based out of Indiana).
I found Minton’s insights into the Israeli/Palestine conflict to be dead-on. His support of the Zionist movement is a reminder to all Americans that Republicans are consistently stronger supporters of the Zionist cause than Democrats. Islamism is given the hard-look it deserves, and Minton pulls no punches in his critique of the extremists who are leading that religion down the dark path of violence and radicalism.
Domestic affairs are the primary focus of Minton’s essays, however. The failures of welfare to fix the problem of poverty is discussed at great length, shedding much needed light on that tax quagmire.
While not everything in Unplugged and Unashamed is endorsed by this reviewer, Minton undoubtedly brings into focus the major issues confronting America and especially the Conservative Movement in America today. His knowledge of the topics is quite broad, and his insights are clear, concise, and to the point.
Mr. Right Opinion is unashamedly Right Wing, and unabashedly outspoken in its denouncement of the Left, its failed social policies, and the future course of America.
