Folks, I am fired up to the point where I am having chest pains. This story has sent me over the edge…not good early in the day. I knew that, early last week, the liberal Democrats in the House were trying to pass a bill which literally put an end to just about any and every hope that we true Americans may have had for domestic drilling of oil and/or natural gas.

Being sneaky like they are, they waited till the end of the day and proposed a bill that is no more than a sham on the American people. I honest-to-God do not know how these idiots call themselves American, and can still look themselves in the mirror.

Essentially, what this Pelosi bill does, is limit offshore drilling to over fifty miles or more offshore, when it is believed that ninety-five percent of the oil available is less than fifty miles offshore. This makes such an effort virtually worthless.

The way Green Watch America puts it is: “H.R. 6899, the so-called "Comprehensive American Energy Security and Consumer Protection Act allows drilling in those areas where THERE IS NO OIL and effectively extends the moratorium on domestic drilling where THERE IS OIL !”

They go on to say: “What Madame Pelosi also didn't you -- other than the fact that the bill does the EXACT OPPOSITE of what she says it does and effectively CUTS-OFF domestic drilling at a time when Americans are struggling over the escalating costs of gasoline -- is that her "sham bill" also RAISES YOUR TAXES , and is LADEN WITH ENOUGH PORK TO CHOKE A GOAT!”

I knew the bill would be coming up for a vote, but little did I know that the vote WAS HELD LAST WEEK…AND IT PASSED! If the senate allows it to pass, our hopes of any domestic drilling will be essentially over! They just snuck it right through, damn America, and the American people. As long as Pelosi and her cronies get their money from their special interest groups!

I mean, I am so damn mad I can barely see straight. But I know this is no time to let anger get in the way of my objective here. We HAVE to go to work on the Senate. I don’t know if there is even a Senate bill for it yet, but that’s OK.

I am asking that, even though they don’t have a vote date set, you call your respective senators and ask them to turn down the Senate version of HR 6899. Please!

Please look up your senator today, cal them, and express your concern that they not pass HR 6899.

Boy, if I didn’t know better, I would say that Hillary Clinton is pulling for Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY). Apparently, she was in Kentucky over the weekend stumping for McConnell’s rival in the upcoming general elections, Bruce Lunsford, former State Democrat party Chairman.

According to a story on the PolitickerKY.com website called “Hillary makes two stops for Lunsford,” Sen. Clinton made stops in Pikeville, KY (19 minutes), and Lexington, KY (30 minutes). It says that she also used some of that time stumping for Democrats throughout the country, as well as campaigning for Obama/Biden. How much time could she actually have given Lunsford.

And to be honest, I think she helped Sen. McConnell more than Lunsford anyway. She said: "I know how frustrating it is when we have good ideas and then run into the brick wall of opposition on the other side of the aisle,” Clinton said in Pikeville. “And you know who the leader of that opposition is – it’s your senior senator, day after day, just standing in the way.”

What a compliment! I mean, what more could you ask for? A lady who came in second in the Democrat presidential primary says that our Republican senator has been in the way of the Democrat agenda. “A brick wall…day after day!” That’s just perfect.

I think if I were Sen. McConnell, I would try to find the sound byte for that and use it in my next commercial. Heck, I might even send her a bouquet of flowers. I mean, that is a great help to his cause. Thanks, Mrs. Clinton!

Maybe we can get her to come back and stump for Rep. Anne Northup’s opponent also!
