I am sorry to my readers that I have been pretty silent over the past week. I have been having some physical issues, and will be going into the hospital tomorrow for a few days. Thus, I will be unable to update my blog.

OK, look, I’ve had it. Enough of this crap is enough! When will the world, INCLUDING the United States, stop laying down under the threats of Islamo-fascism? A couple of years ago, most American newspapers (if they can still call themselves that), totally chickened-out on printing the Danish cartoons depicting the supposed-prophet mohammed with a bomb hidden in his turban. Why? For fear of muslim reprisal. How ridiculous!
As I pointed out in an article then, they sure didn’t have a problem showing a picture of the Virgin Mother Mary painted with elephant crap. Nor was it beyond their high moral standards to show pictures of the masterpiece of a crucifix which had been dipped in urine and called “Piss Christ.” Yet they refuse this other stuff, which has much more validity.
I think the only real reason the muslims got mad about the whole bomb-turban thing was that it unwittingly revealed plans for their next attack.
So, here I am, catching up on news at CNSNews.com, when I come across an article called, “Internet Co. Suspends Web Site for Film Critical of Islam” by Patrick Goodenough. And I just can’t help having flashbacks to a couple of years ago when all the American “Free Speech” press refused to show the cartoons of islamo-fascists, as it was just too disturbing.
Apparently, a U.S.-based internet company has pulled the plug on airing a fifteen-minute film made by a Dutch lawmaker. The film was supposedly made to identify links between the koran and islamic terrorism.
The CNSNews article describes it this way: “At the weekend, however, the hosting company, Virginia-based Network Solutions, replaced the screen with a message saying it had received ‘a number of complaints’ about the site and had suspended it while investigating whether the ‘content’ violated its acceptable-use policy.”
What a load of dung. Apparently, news reports of the impending film had gotten a bunch of radicals’ underwear in a knot, and they began demonstrating in several Islamic countries. There were reports from the Dutch and other governments about a possible violent backlash to the fifteen-minute documentary. My question: SO WHAT???
So, these idiots can go out and burn cars and government buildings without public condemnation, but one man can’t make a documentary on what he sees as a connection between the koran and islamic terror? What is this world coming to?
In defending its action to pull the brief movie from the site, Network Solutions cited its “acceptable-use policy,” which, apparently consists of “a broad prohibition on obscene or harmful material that includes ‘hate propaganda’ and anything ‘profane, indecent or otherwise objectionable.’”
Otherwise objectionable??? That’s just another way of saying, “We want to be able to yank anything we want without having to give a reason.” That is absurd, shameless, and cowardly.
I’m telling you, these terrorists are like kids. Once you give in to the least of their demands, they will be back with greater demands, and you will give in to them again. I certainly hope that Network Solutions will re-think this decision.

This next story just warms my heart. It seems there is this seventy-two year old pervert out in central Kansas who has a fetish for eleven-year-old boys. Although originally charged with four counts of taking indecent liberties with a nine-year-old girl and an eleven-year-old boy in 2005, Leroy Schad was given a plea deal of the lesser charge of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child.
Now, normally a plea deal like this would get Mr. Right Opinion’s blood boiling. I mean, what judge in their right mind would allow such a thing, right? How about a very crafty one.
You see, Mr. Schad is now on five years’ home incarceration. Now, granted, that alone would not suffice as a punishment for what he was convicted of. However, part of Mr. Schad’s sentence is that he must post hand-painted signs on all four sides of his house which boldly proclaim, “A Sex Offender Lives Here.”
And if he is allowed to go to the store, or maybe church for “confession?” Well, his car has a decal which carries a similar message: “Sex Offender In This Car.” In bright, bold yellow letters. Nice touch, Your Honor.
And from what I can glean, these signs must remain posted throughout the five-year sentence.
The judge who rendered this decision is District Judge Ron Svaty. And in my book, he is a true American hero.
Schad, who is appealing the signage, could have received three years in prison for his perverted acts with the minor. Said he, “I know that I deserve something for that, but I don't think I deserve what I got.” Well, Mr. Schad, I think you are wrong. I think you should have served the three years, and THEN gotten the five years of signage.
Schad is appealing the sign part of his sentence. Gee, I wonder if the ACLU will get involved to come to this predator’s defense. They love causes that allow sex conduct by adults with kids (NAMBLA, for instance). Or would that fall under the jurisdiction of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals?
